Resources and How I can Help
It seems to me that there are really two intersecting areas of focus in creating a high performing and inspiring work culture: one is one building the organizational infrastructure and the second, and maybe most important, is building the personal skills of each individual to accept their own responsibility for being positive and contributing. Here are some of my favorite resources on building an organizational culture in these areas:
Thank God It’s Monday (Roxanne Emmerich’s blog about creating motivational workplaces. She is one of my heroes!)
Marci Shimoff (Marci Shimoff’s blog that expands on her wonderful research-based personal growth book: Happy for No Reason.)
The Happiness Project (Gretchen Rubin’s exploration in her Psychology Today blog.)
How I can Help:
There is nothing I love more than helping an organization develop or strengthen its unique positive culture. While supporting a strong culture is embedded in everything I do, there are some specific approaches that can help you and your team focus on this area. I emphasize practical tools that you can implement immediately, building on the latest discoveries in organizational, positive, and energy psychology.
Onsite or web-enabled seminars and coaching on:
- Improving morale
- Enhancing customer service
- Maintaining high morale and accountability
- Building teamwork
- Re-energizing
- Building a strengths-based culture
- Managing morale during stressful change efforts
Each of these can also be evaluated during a consultation with your organization, or bundled with management and supervision training. And each can be offered to an individual, a team, or an entire agency.
